Dunia Designs is a Tanzanian design company based in Arusha, renowned for crafting high-quality, sustainable furniture and home decor from recycled plastic waste. Founded in 2016 by Evanna and Alexis Cronin, the company was born out of a shared concern over the growing plastic pollution in their community. Their journey began with the creation of an iconic pouffe made from shredded plastic collected from local streets, marking the inception of Dunia Designs’ commitment to environmental responsibility.
