Overview
The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) African Regional Technical Assistance Center for East Africa (AFRITAC East) is a collaborative initiative between the IMF, participating East African countries, and development partners. Established in 2002 and headquartered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, AFRITAC East aims to strengthen the institutional capacities of member countries in economic and financial management.
