Overview
Mbinga District Council governs Mbinga District, one of Ruvuma Region’s most expansive rural districts, with its administrative seat situated at Kiamili in Kigonsera Ward, approximately 32 km from Mbinga town and 67 km from Songea town.
Covering about 6,319 km², the district lies in southwestern Tanzania and is bordered to the north by Ludewa (Njombe Region), east by Songea, south and west by Nyasa District, as well as Mbinga Town Council
