Overview
The Tanzania Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST) is the Tanzanian government body responsible for setting policies, providing guidelines, and overseeing the entire education system, from basic to higher education, plus vocational training, research, and the development of science, technology, and innovation (STI) to foster a knowledge-based, developed nation. Its core functions include curriculum development, teacher training, accreditation, skills development, promoting STEM, and managing research funding for national development.
