Overview
Momba District Council (Halmashauri ya Wilaya ya Momba) is the governing body of Momba District, located within Songwe Region in southwestern Tanzania. The district was officially established on December 23, 2012, when the western portion of Mbozi District became part of a newly created region, Songwe, and Momba District was formed to improve local governance and access to services for residents.
