Overview
National Identification Authority (NIDA) is a government agency in Tanzania responsible for registering and issuing national identification cards to Tanzanian citizens and eligible non-citizens. It operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs and was established to create and maintain a central population register that contains personal details of all registered individuals.
