Overview
Nzega District Council is one of the seven administrative districts in Tabora Region, situated on Tanzania’s central plateau. The district spans approximately 7,173 km², characterized by rolling plains at elevations between 1,100 and 1,300 meters above sea level. As of the 2022 national census, its population stood at 574,498, up from 502,252 in 2012 and 417,097 in 2002.
