Overview
Rorya District Council administers Rorya District, located in the Mara Region of northwestern Tanzania. Officially established on 1 July 2007, after being carved out from Tarime District, it covers an expansive area of approximately 9,345 km², of which around 7,252 km² (77.6%) is Lake Victoria and 2,093 km² is land.
