Mining & Civil Engineering
Originally founded as a civil and earth-moving company in Mbeya, Taifa Mining is now the largest indigenous mining contractor in Tanzania. It holds long-term contracts with major mines including Geita, Bulyanhulu, Tulawaka, North Mara, and Williamson Diamond Mine
Petroleum Gas (LPG)
Under Taifa Gas Tanzania Limited (formerly Mihan Gas), the group operates a nationwide network of 22+ depots and sub-depots, key storage infrastructure in Dar es Salaam, and exports LPG to several neighboring countries
Transport & Logistics
Taifa Transport & Logistics Ltd. utilizes a modern fleet (tankers, trailers, bulk carriers) for sectors including liquid/dry bulk, hazardous goods, and general cargo. This division is part of the Group’s integrated logistics offerings
Solar Energy & Power
The group partners with Generation Capital to advance utility-scale solar projects, notably initiating a 180 MW solar power plant in Zanzibar as part of a $330 million deal
Additional Sectors
