Overview
Tarime Town Council governs the urban district known as Tarime Town (TC) in Mara Region, Tanzania. Established in 2012 as an urban authority, Tarime Town covers an area of approximately 147 km² and is surrounded by Tarime District Council on nearly all sides. As of the 2022 national census, it had a population of 133,043 residents, distributed across eight wards, including Bomani, Nyamisangura, Sabasaba, Nkende, Nyandoto, Kenyamanyori, Turwa, and Kentare.
