Overview
Tumaini La Maisha is a Tanzanian non-governmental organization established in 2011 and dedicated to ensuring that every child in Tanzania with cancer has access to free, high-quality treatment and supportive care services. What began as support to the paediatric oncology ward at Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam has evolved into a powerful National Childhood Cancer Network, now spanning at least 12 treatment centers across 10 regions, including key sites like the Ocean Road Cancer Institute, Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Moshi, and multiple regional hospitals.
