Overview
Uvi Foundation for Education is a Tanzanian non-profit NGO based in the Usambara Mountains that was registered in May 2023 (Reg. No. ooNGO/R/4668). Its mission is to help rural children especially girls get access to quality education and vocational training, as well as support local community development. Some of its activities include after-school tutoring, a weekend/holiday learning club and library in Mambo, sewing and entrepreneurship training for girls, and a sponsorship programme that helps students go to private schools when public options are insufficient.
