Overview
Vocational Education & Training Authority (VETA) is a government institution in Tanzania established under the Vocational Education and Training Act of 1994 (Cap 82). VETA plays a key role in coordinating, promoting, regulating, and financing vocational education and training across the country. Its main aim is to provide Tanzanians with the technical skills and competencies needed to excel in various trades, industries, and entrepreneurial ventures, thereby contributing to national development and employment creation.
