K.K.K.T. Arusha Road SACCOS LTD is a Community-Based Financial Cooperative established under the Co-operative Societies Act No. 20 of 2003 in February 2004. It is licensed as a Class B SACCOS under the Microfinance Act No. 10 of 2018 as of July 2023. The organization’s primary objectives are to mobilize savings from members, provide financial and credit facilities, and enhance the economic and social well-being of its members.

The Board of Directors invites applications from suitably qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following vacancy.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and oversight for the Accounting and Finance Department.
• Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of accounting and financial records.
• Coordinate budget preparation, monitor budget implementation, and provide regular budgetary reports.
• Serve as the principal advisor to management and the Board on all financial matters.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory returns and remittances.
• Oversee compliance with tax obligations, including VAT, PAYE, and withholding tax.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls.
• Authorize and settle transactions prudently, in line with approved policies and controls.
• Prepare statutory and regulatory reports in accordance with accepted standards.
• Prepare final accounts in compliance with professional accounting standards.
• Coordinate external audits and address audit queries.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration (majoring in Accountancy/Finance) from a recognized institution.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent recognized by NBAA.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role within a reputable organization.
