About CCBRT
Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) aims to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa. CCBRT serves as a healthcare social enterprise and delivers development programmes in the community, particularly for vulnerable populations.
CCBRT is committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible and is also engaged in extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities, including obstetric fistula repairs.
Its Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral centre for high-risk and emergency deliveries in the Dar es Salaam region and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
To strengthen CCBRT Moshi, CCBRT is looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable professional in Finance and Administration to ensure accurate financial documentation and support other office activities.
Key Responsibilities
Finance and Accounting
- Perform general accountancy duties, including monitoring and tracking expenditures.
- Prepare donor financial reports.
- Oversee donor compliance.
- Lead audits conducted on respective projects and support CCBRT global audits.
- Prepare and remit TRA statutory and other statutory returns.
- Maintain debtor control accounts for various clients.
- Maintain creditor control accounts for various suppliers.
- Manage vouchers and petty cash.
- Prepare monthly statements.
- Enter data into the accounting system, including SAP.
- Assist in drafting, filing, and dispatching tender correspondence.
- Conduct bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly performance accounts and weekly cash flow reports.
- Maintain Moshi's fixed asset register and oversee acquisition and disposal of assets.
- Ensure proper maintenance and use of office equipment and facilities.
Administration and Office Support
- Maintain stock records and coordinate reordering.
- Assist with the onboarding of new joiners.
- Liaise with IT consultants to ensure swift and successful resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain the office filing system.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality delivery of goods and services on time and within budget.
- Produce productivity reports using the company's time management software.
- Liaise with the Head of Moshi and CCBRT Head Office regarding other assigned duties.
- Support logistics for meetings, training, and travel arrangements.
Qualifications and Work Experience
- Advanced or postgraduate diploma in Accounting or a related financial field.
- CPA or ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Computer literacy, including experience with ERP and SAP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swahili.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member with a client-focused approach.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to work.
