Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Reconciliation Specialist located in Dar es-Salaam. The Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation of transactions, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The role also includes maintaining detailed records of reconciliation activities, coordinating with different departments to resolve issues, and preparing reports on reconciliation status.
Qualifications
- Experience in Financial Reconciliation, Accounting, and Financial Reporting
- Proficiency in using Reconciliation Software and Accounting Software
- Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the fintech industry is a plus
