Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, preparing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and coordinating audits. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring accounts, conducting financial analysis, and preparing reports for management. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to support overall financial health and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong skills in preparing financial statements and reports
• Experience in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and coordinating audits
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA certification is a plus
• Experience in the catering, facilities management, or PPE sector is advantageous
