Job Description
Big Data Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop descriptive and predictive models using Python, R, SQL, or other relevant tools to enhance product usage strategies and customer segmentation.
- Analyse trends in product lines, customer behaviour, and general business performance to identify opportunities, risks, and patterns.
- Propose initiatives to senior management based on data insights.
- Improve customer segmentation techniques for targeted interventions.
- Discover patterns in data through data mining tools to inform the business about internal or external changes.
- Deliver machine learning solutions that will drive revenue and reduce costs.
Core Competencies:
- Proficiency in data analytical tools, with at least two from Python, R, Julia, Tableau, Power BI, ARCGIS/QGIS; SQL is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
