Job Description
The Association of African Higher Education Financing Agencies (AAHEFA) is an umbrella body formed by institutions that manage student loans, grants, and scholarships across Africa, aiming to improve higher education access by sharing best practices, building capacity, research, and resource mobilization. Headquartered in Tanzania, it serves as a key forum for African financing agencies to collaborate on challenges, innovate funding solutions, negotiate with donors, and harmonize policies.
Role Summary:
- Responsible for financial management, administration, and ensuring compliance with AAHEFA procedures.
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 2–3 years in financial and administrative management.
Key Competencies:
- Financial reporting, budgeting, audit and compliance knowledge, integrity
