Job Description
Government Business Relations Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in corporate sales, dealing with government financial services, banking, and product management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Enhance relationships with government agencies (Mainland & Zanzibar) to align with their growth plans and increase market share in government payments.
- Foster improved relations with government sectors to expand the agriculture portfolio.
- Represent the organization in government-related stakeholder meetings, make presentations, and ensure appropriate representation.
- Monitor and anticipate government business and financial activities to leverage opportunities for business improvements.
- Support the growth of Mobile Financial Services (MFS) revenues from government business.
- Develop and manage government-related products, including contract negotiations, SLAs, product lifecycle, and marketing strategies.
- Design and implement tailored value propositions for government entities and manage the onboarding process for targeted agencies.
Core Competencies:
- Proven ability to close sales deals.
- Experience in pipeline management, contracts management, bidding, and SLA management.
- Effective negotiation skills and stakeholder engagement techniques.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
