About the Role

AYMAK Attorneys is seeking a proactive and organized Office Administrator / Receptionist to join our growing team in Dar es Salaam. This role is central to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our office and maintaining a professional, welcoming environment for our clients and visitors.

The successful candidate will manage office operations, coordinate meetings and correspondence, maintain records and supplies, and provide general administrative support across departments. As the first point of contact at our front desk, you will also handle reception duties with professionalism, discretion, and a client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations and logistics to ensure a well-functioning workplace
  • Manage scheduling, correspondence, and internal communication
  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain and organize office files, records, and supplies
  • Support team members with administrative and clerical tasks
  • Coordinate with service providers and vendors where necessary
  • Uphold confidentiality and maintain high standards of professionalism at all times

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience in office administration, reception, or front-office management
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a positive attitude
  • Professional appearance and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a legal or professional services environment is an added advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
