Your Next Career Opportunity – Procurement Administrator II, International
This position plans and executes procurement activities by facilitating communication between user departments and providers to ensure provision of best value goods and services, always adhering to company procurement procedures and maintaining transparency throughout the process. The position involves compiling requested items to draw up purchase orders for the procurement of materials and services, dealing with anything relating to the ordering of goods and supplies for the Company and determining if inventory quantities are sufficient for the needs of the Company, ordering more supplies as needed.
The position also manages warehouse and logistics activities, performs inventory control duties, maintains inventory records, ships material to job sites and works closely with internal and external customers as a customer service point.
What You Will Do – Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting and analyzing procurement data to support purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate new vendor approvals with Legal, Safety, and other stakeholders.
- Help monitor vendor performance and maintain supplier records.
- Support the compliance and legal teams in the gathering of vendor documentation.
- Support the local teams in the preparation of purchase orders.
- Communicate with vendors to gather information and resolve basic inquiries.
- Maintain procurement databases and update spreadsheets with current information.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate procurement processes.
- Help track inventory levels and assist in forecasting supply needs.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Meet internal and external requests and needs, ensuring delivery within compliance.
- Work with Vendor Management team to examine documents prior to the approval of suppliers.
- Classification of information for approval system.
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
- Update vendors control spreadsheets and organize documentation in network folders.
- Organize and track attendance for annual vendor compliance training.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need – Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
- 1-2 years working in procurement or vendor management.
- Demonstrated knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong diligence and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a challenging and fast environment.
