JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility under the general guidance of the Director of Sales.
The role involves generating and maintaining customers of defined accounts and areas through sales activities such as face-to-face sales calls, telephone calls or entertainment.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of your own portfolio, covering all levels of accounts' managerial and departmental executives for comprehensive client servicing, achieving targets and maximum productivity.
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed set targets.
- Formulate and negotiate corporate offers, yearly contracts and any other required business correspondence.
- Closely monitor accounts revenue and business production for the accounts and maintain an up-to-date Account & Contact Database in the property management system.
- Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the properties' unique selling points, features, amenities, services and policies.
- Produce sales leads for other Rotana Hotels outside the coverage area.
- Update the property Sales Management on the negotiation and progress of every business deal and use available technology for reports, communication and client correspondence.
- Provide feedback to the Director of Sales on changing market conditions, review direct competition and conduct regular research.
- Participate in any training and development schemes as recommended by Senior Management.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests' and employees' health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
- Comply with the hotel's environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
