About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Herbicide Mixing Plant (HMP) Supervisor to oversee the operations of our Herbicide Mixing Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate preparation of agrochemical mixes, maintaining compliance with company standards, and supervising plant operators.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the Herbicide Mixing Plant (HMP).
  • Ensure accurate mixing and calibration of herbicides according to agronomy specifications.
  • Monitor stock levels of chemicals and report requirements in advance.
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Train and guide plant operators on proper chemical handling, equipment use, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain plant performance records, mixing reports, and daily log sheets.
  • Coordinate with Agronomy and Crop Protection teams to meet operational needs.
  • Identify and report any breakdowns, malfunctions, or risks in plant operations.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Valid OSHA Chemical Handling Certificate will be an added advantage.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in chemical handling, crop protection, or plant operations.
  • Knowledge of agrochemical safety standards and mixing procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience in the safe handling, storage, application, and disposal of agricultural chemicals.
  • Strong supervisory and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-focused environment
