To provide efficient, timely and safe transportation to all assigned locations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• To Drive Company Vehicles for official assignments
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of company vehicles
• Overseeing repairs and maintenance of vehicles including replacement of spare parts and general services
• Advice on status of insurance cover/TLB and other road traffic required documents
• Attend Drivers Committee meetings
• To operate handling equipment to support the needs of the business
• To ensure the serviceability of equipment prior to, and after use to ensure safety and serviceability of equipment
• To maintain required levels of certification/licensing to ensure safe and effective use of equipment
• To ensure safety & security of cargo ramp operations is in compliance with relevant legislative/industry requirements
• To ensure a healthy working environment in accordance with relevant industry and legislative requirements for personnel working in cargo ramp operations
• To ensure conformity with all regulatory requirements, organization standards and local procedures as well as requirements of customer airlines
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Qualification Required, Education

• Holder of PSV Certificate from NIT/Veta
• At least Ordinary level of Secondary education
• Valid driver's license with class C, C1, C2 and clean driving record
• Working in aviation field will be an added advantage

Experience :

• Must have up to 3 years driving experience in a reputable organization
