Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst at Inventions Technologies

To design, develop, and deliver business intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support decision-making across the organization. The role will focus on translating business requirements into actionable insights using BI tools, dashboards, and data models. 

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Develop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense,or Tableau.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs.
• Work closely with the Data Warehousing and Big Data teams to ensure data availability and reliability.
• Optimize SQL queries, data models, and ETL processes to improve reporting efficiency.

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

• Proven experience in Business
• Intelligence, Data Analysis, or Reporting roles.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Good understanding of data modeling,ETL processes, and reporting best practices.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• • Familiarity with cloud data platforms(AWS, Azure, or GCP) is an advantage.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science,Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
• Professional certifications in BI or analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst, Qlik, or Tableau) are an advantage
