The Key purpose will be to perform diagnostic inspections and condition monitoring activities on rotating and critical equipment using various techniques. The role includes strong Analytical, writing skills, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. The specialist will also ensure compliance with safety standards, maintain monitoring records and systems, and contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform condition monitoring activities on rotating and static equipment using techniques such as:
  • Vibration analysis
  • Thermography
  • Ultrasound testing
  • Oil analysis
  • Motor current analysis
  • Vessel thickness test
  • Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs for critical assets.
  • Conduct routine inspections and diagnostic assessments to identify equipment deterioration or failure trends.
  • Interpret condition monitoring data and prepare technical reports with recommendations.
  • Support reliability improvement initiatives and root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Maintain asset health records, historical trends, and monitoring databases.
  • Assist in developing maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality and condition.
  • Analyze trends and provide early warning notifications for abnormal equipment behavior.
  • Generate condition assessment reports and communicate findings to all sections Engineers of Utilities, Brewing and Packaging
  • Recommend corrective actions and follow-up activities to prevent equipment failures.
  • Ensure all monitoring activities comply with company standards, safety regulations, and ABInBev maintenance best practices.
  • Promote safe work practices during inspections and field activities.
  • Maintain calibration and proper use of condition monitoring instruments.
  • Utilize CMMS, reliability software, and data acquisition systems effectively (SEMEQ).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on maintenance reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments in predictive maintenance and asset reliability.
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, or reliability engineering.
  • Certification in vibration analysis (e.g., ISO CAT I/II/III) advantageous.
  • Experience with condition monitoring tools and reliability software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
