Job Description

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as Assistant Purchasing Manager where you will support the Purchasing Manager in sourcing, ordering, and managing the supply of goods and services required for hotel operations. This role ensures that procurement procedures are followed in accordance with hotel standards and financial guidelines, while maintaining high-quality service, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. The role involves vendor management, inventory control, and close collaboration with other hotel departments.

About The Job

  • Assist in the procurement of hotel supplies including F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and admin materials.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time.
  • Obtain and analyse quotations; negotiate terms to ensure best value purchases.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and follow up with vendors on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory management to avoid overstocking or stockouts.Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new suppliers.
  • Assist in contract negotiations, renewals, and performance evaluation.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and hotel standards.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with hotel policies and financial control procedures.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hotel purchasing or procurement, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Familiarity with hospitality procurement systems (e.g, Material Control, Adaco).
  • Knowledge of local suppliers and market trends in hospitality.
