Job Purpose

Provide basic patient care and assist patients with daily tasks they are unable to perform due to illness, under the supervision of nursing staff.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
• Assist residents with daily hygiene activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help residents with positioning, turning, and mobility support.
• Lift and/or transport patients or residents as required.
• Respond promptly to patient or resident calls.
• Observe, report, and respond to changes in patient or resident conditions.
• Attend required training sessions, in-service education, and development programs.
• Assist with housekeeping duties and support during mealtimes.
• Provide health education to inpatients and outpatients.
• Support prevention of communicable diseases.
• Maintain cleanliness of wards and hospital environment.
• Ensure all tasks are performed with awareness of environmental and pollution prevention standards.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate in Nurse Assistance from a recognized institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
