POST: ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN - 4 POST

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical sessions for undergraduate programs
- To prepare and present case studies
- To conduct and publish/disseminate research results
- To recognise students having difficulties, intervene and provide help and support
- To participate in consultancies and community services under supervision
- To attend workshops, conferences and symposia
- Perform any other duties that the relevant authorities may assign
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Holder of Masters and Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Studies, Library and Information Services, Library and Information Management, Information Studies or Records Management and Archives with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 from recognized institutions.
REMUNERATION: PUTS 2.1
