Job Description
Position Title: Program Support Intern
Reports to: Administration Officer
Duty Station: Arusha, Tanzania
Duration: 3 Months (with possibility of extension)
Remuneration: Lunch during working hours and a modest stipend will be provided.
Job Type: Full-time (Monday–Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm and Friday, 8:30 am – 2:00 pm)

Position Summary
The Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS and Health Service Organizations (EANNASO) is a regional network of Civil Society (CS) and Community Groups (CG) working towards the elimination of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, and associated health challenges, including sexual reproductive health (SRH), climate change, and pandemic preparedness and response (PPR).
EANNASO is seeking a proactive and well-organised Program Support Intern to assist with both program implementation and office administration. The intern will support day-to-day program activities while also providing front office and administrative support.
This opportunity is designed for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit program implementation and administration.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist program teams with planning, implementation, and reporting of activities.
- Support data entry, documentation, and preparation of program reports.
- Provide logistical support for trainings, workshops, and advocacy events.
- Manage the reception desk: welcome visitors, answer calls, and handle inquiries.
- Support record-keeping, filing, and documentation (digital and hardcopy).
- Assist with scheduling meetings, note-taking, and follow-ups.
- Support office logistics, supplies management, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain a professional and organised front office environment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft 360 (Email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Zoom.
- Interest in community health, advocacy, and non-profit management.
