Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Auditor based in Dar es Salaam. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting thorough internal audits, preparing and analyzing detailed audit reports, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures and regulations. The role requires evaluating internal controls, assessing financial operations, and providing actionable recommendations for process improvements. Communication with stakeholders and contributing to risk management initiatives are also key aspects of this position.

• Proficiency in preparing detailed and accurate audit reports
• Strong analytical skills to identify, evaluate, and address financial discrepancies
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance and experience in conducting financial audits
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
• Prior experience in a financial services or microfinance environment is an advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are preferred
