Job Description
Responsible for driving the Bank's Marketing effectiveness, ensuring Brand consistency, and managing end-to-end marketing processes. This role focuses on optimizing marketing workflows, executing integrated campaigns, overseeing the Brand strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing customer engagement across digital and traditional channels.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven marketing professional with strong project management capabilities, a deep understanding of banking products, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across all channels (digital, print, ATL/BTL, in-branch).
- Oversee marketing calendars, campaign workflows, approvals, and resource allocation.
- Develop and maintain standardized marketing processes, templates, and operational frameworks.
- Manage vendor relationships, including creative agencies, research firms, and production houses.
- Track budgets, monitor cost efficiency, and ensure adherence to procurement guidelines.
- Implement marketing automation tools, CRM integrations, and analytics platforms in coordination with IT and Digital teams.
Branding and Communications
- Strengthen and protect the bank's brand identity across customer touchpoints.
- Develop brand guidelines and ensure consistent usage across branches, digital platforms, and communication materials.
- Drive brand architecture, positioning, and messaging for all product lines (retail, corporate, SME, wealth).
- Lead the creation of marketing collateral, campaign assets, and brand communication materials.
- Oversee visibility of corporate communication initiatives, including Public Relations (PR) coordination, internal communication, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Digital Marketing and Customer Engagement
- Collaborate with digital banking teams to ensure brand consistency and optimized user experience across digital channels.
- Support social media strategy, content calendars, and online brand reputation monitoring.
- Use data insights to enhance acquisition, retention, and cross-sell campaigns.
Compliance, Governance and Risk Management
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with regulatory guidelines (banking regulations, advertising standards, data privacy).
- Maintain audit-read documentation for campaigns, approvals, and vendor interactions.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Internal Audit teams for communication reviews and approvals.
Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Monitor campaign performance, conduct post-campaign analysis, and provide actionable insights.
- Maintain dashboards on brand health, marketing ROI, customer engagement, and market trends.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking and customer research in collaboration with research agencies.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields.
- Master's degree in business studies is an added advantage.
- Postgraduate education in Banking and/or Banking certification(s) is an added advantage
- At least 4 years' experience in Marketing, Branding, or Marketing operations, preferably in banking, financial services, or fintech.
- Proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns and leading brand initiatives.
