Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of highly motivated corporate and retail dealers.
- Prepare and implement treasury sales broad strategy.
- Prepare monthly sales reports.
- Analyze foreign exchange market trends and treasury department performance.
- Manage existing clients' expectations regarding foreign exchange and other treasury-related services.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and follow up on policy changes issued by the Central Bank.
- Prepare and coordinate branch and customer visits for each Treasury Sales staff member.
- Conduct physical visits to both existing and prospective customers.
- Implement efficient pricing mechanisms to enhance Treasury business profitability and achieve revenue targets.
- Recommend, develop, and implement management processes and platforms to effectively track, monitor, and evaluate foreign exchange business.
- Work with Product Development Managers in developing and executing marketing initiatives for customer acquisition, retention, and growth.
Daily Responsibilities
- Prepare daily treasury sales reports.
- Ensure customers receive daily foreign exchange market updates.
- Perform daily monitoring and reporting of the Bank's foreign exchange positions.
- Provide timely foreign exchange references to branches after deal confirmation.
- Monitor dealing limits utilization within the unit.
- Perform daily front office foreign exchange position reconciliation.
- Establish and monitor daily treasury customer complaints.
- Conduct direct sales and marketing through telephone calls with existing clients and prospective customers.
Minimum Position Qualification Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (BCom) or Accounting (Required).
- Master's Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance (Added Advantage).
Professional Qualifications
- ACI Dealing Certificate (Required).
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- At least two (2) years of experience in operations (Essential).
- At least three (3) years of experience in sales (Essential).
