Strategy Manager – Corporate Investments at CRDB Bank Tanzania

The individual will work closely with the Strategy Manager: Corporate Investments, Senior Specialist, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth and create value for the company. This includes conducting market research, performing financial analysis, investment appraisals, deal analysis, research, and financial modeling, analyzing and evaluating potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and developing strategic recommendations for the company.

Principle Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate investment projects, including market research, financial analysis, investment appraisals, deal analysis, research, financial modeling, and strategic recommendations.
• Prepare and make presentations for business unit leaders and senior executives.
• Prepare and present recommendations, analysis, and progress reports to the Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corporate investment decisions that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and assess market trends and competition.
• Monitor the progress and performance of corporate investments and adjust as needed.
• Conduct due diligence and financial analysis on potential targets.
• Stay informed of industry developments and trends and incorporate them into the company's strategy as appropriate.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources such as financial reports, market research, and customer feedback to identify business performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop forecasting models and financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Support subsidiary tasks, such as monitoring KPIs and day-to-day liaison, and corporate strategic initiatives, working closely with the Senior Specialist.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Seeking candidates with minimum of 3 years relevant experience in investment analysis, corporate strategy, corporate finance, or management consulting. We encourage applications from highly qualified individuals who demonstrate relevant skills and strong potential.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, valuations, deal analysis, and strategic planning.
• Experience working on cross-functional projects and within a matrix organization is a plus.
