- Job Title: DEMAND PLANNER (Woman or Man)

- Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's is a industry preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management (FMCG)
Your Profile
- Strong sense of organization, accuracy, and method in demand planning and data management
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales trends, forecast demand, and summarize data for planning purposes
- Proficiency in office automation tools and planning systems (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, demand planning tools)
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, demand forecasting, inventory management, and basic business operations
- Team player with reliability and the ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Proactive, with initiative and strong problem-solving skills in demand and supply planning matters
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for clear reporting and effective collaboration with sales, logistics, and other stakeholders
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Your challenges
- Translate sales strategies and business objectives into actionable demand forecasts and supply planning activities.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends, and analyze data to support demand planning decisions.
- Conduct detailed demand analysis to improve forecast accuracy and identify potential supply risks or opportunities.
- Develop and formalize demand planning procedures, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and alignment with company standards.
- Gather and analyze relevant sales, inventory, and market data to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Prepare demand forecasts and collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure appropriate stock availability.
- Ensure timely reporting of demand planning activities, forecast performance, and inventory monitoring.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, logistics, and procurement teams to align demand forecasts with operational capabilities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of demand planning tools, supply chain processes, and market dynamics affecting product demand.
