Job Description

BURN is looking for an Executive Support Officer who will be responsible for strengthening leadership effectiveness by driving execution of strategic priorities, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring strong coordination between leadership and operational teams.

The role serves as a central integration point for strategy execution, performance tracking, cross-functional coordination, and executive office management to ensure organizational priorities are delivered effectively.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support any strategic or operational assignments from management.
  • Drive accountability by following up on leadership decisions and action items.
  • Support budgeting and cost control for country expenses and ensuring compliance.
  • Lead special projects and operational improvement initiatives when needed.
  • Drive CFT alignment by coordinating execution between leadership and operational teams.
  • Consolidate insights and data from multiple departments to enable informed leadership decisions.
  • Improve internal communication flow between management and teams.
  • Coordinate and share in-country weekly updates on ongoing activities for effective alignment.
  • Prepare structured analyses, briefs, reports, and presentations to support decision-making.
  • Strengthen operational efficiency through process standardization and performance tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation, operational, and quality standards.
  • Manage calendars, meeting priorities, and leadership engagements.
  • Understand Commercial Objectives, plans and support needs for proactive facilitations.
  • Prepare executive communications, leadership briefings, and board updates.
  • Ensure clear and consistent messaging across management teams.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders when needed.
  • Support organizational planning including expansion readiness and resource allocation
  • Manage risk by proactively identifying operational and compliance gaps.
  • Coordinate with cross function departments on office resource planning proactively.
  • Coordinate visitors, internal events, and company activities

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Operations, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of experience in Executive Support, Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or Project Management roles (experience in fast-paced or multi-country environments is an added advantage)
  • Proven ability to support senior leadership (C-level or Country Head level) with calendar management, prioritization, and executive communications
  • Strong experience in project management and cross-functional coordination, with the ability to drive execution across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation development (Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides)
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for decision-making
  • Experience in performance tracking, KPI monitoring, and operational reporting
  • Exposure to budget tracking, cost control, or financial oversight is an added advantage
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on action items
