Job Description

University Degree in Business Administration, Social Science, or a related field.

2 years of work experience, especially in marketing & sales related roles or customer service.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and oversee merchant acquisition activities to ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines.
  • Plan and execute targeted campaigns and market attacks to onboard high-value merchants efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and contractors to track progress and resolve onboarding challenges.
  • Conduct field visits to engage with potential high-end merchants, deliver training, and promote solution adoption.
  • Support on-ground teams during activation campaigns with logistics, M-pesa top up, and marketing materials distribution.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value merchants through regular, personalized engagements.
  • Work with the Trade Marketing team to ensure proper branding and provision of required merchant tools.
  • Monitor KPIs across internal and external acquisition efforts and provide regular performance reports to management.
  • Ensure smooth coordination and communication with all stakeholders involved in merchant onboarding.
  • Keep excellent records of onboarding activities, team contributions, and third-party deliverables.
  • Share actionable market insights to support strategic acquisition planning and decision-making.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned, showing adaptability and commitment to broader company goals!
