Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a Related field.
2 years of experience in CVM, marketing analytics, business intelligence, data analytics or similar roles within the financial services, mobile technology, or telecommunications sectors.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze mobile money user data to identify and maintain distinct customer segments based on behavior, demographics, and value.
- Define targeted customer profiles to understand preferences, usage habits, and pain points.
- Track key Customer Value Management (CVM) metrics such as ARPU, churn rate, retention, and transaction frequency.
- Develop and implement CVM campaigns like upsell, cross-sell, win-back, and loyalty for mobile money services.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and IT teams to align and integrate CVM efforts.
- Craft tailored messages and offers for each customer segment using channels like SMS, USSD, and app notifications.
- Monitor the effectiveness of CVM initiatives and report results against KPIs.
- Use A/B testing and similar techniques to enhance campaign performance and engagement.
- Provide actionable insights to refine CVM strategies and customer engagement approaches.
- Identify early indicators of potential churn among users to trigger timely interventions.
- Design and launch proactive campaigns to retain customers and reduce attrition.
- Investigate causes of churn and recommend practical solutions to mitigate future losses.
- Prepare data integrity, prepare performance reports, and collaborate with BI teams to improve data tools.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in data science and scripting languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Expertise in report and dashboard design, ensuring visual clarity, user-friendliness, and business alignment.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with data wrangling, feature engineering, and model deployment.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile financial services industry trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory environment.
