Cashier at ZITA Tanzania Wild Camps

ZITA Tanzania Wild Camps Ltd is seeking a reliable Cashier to join its team in Arusha. This is a full-time, office-based position responsible for cash handling, daily cash reconciliation, and delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in a hotel, lodge, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, and process cash and other guest payments accurately.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and prepare end-of-shift cash reports.
• Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests during payment and checkout.
• Maintain basic accounting records and support the finance team with reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in a hotel, lodge, or restaurant.
• Good knowledge of cash handling and daily cash reconciliation.
• Basic accounting knowledge and computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
