Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The right candidate will bring creativity, leadership and consistency to ensure every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee seasonal menus that balance creativity, local flavors and international standards.
- Lead, train and inspire the kitchen team to deliver consistency and excellence in every dish.
- Ensure food presentation, taste and timing meet high quality standards.
- Monitor food costs, portion control and stock levels to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Enforce strict hygiene, safety and food handling practices in line with health regulations.
- Collaborate with management on special menus for events, private functions and themed functions.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance and development for smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume resort/hotel
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent understanding of kitchen financials, budgeting and inventory management.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain high standards during peak service hours.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both kitchen and front-of-house team.
