Job Description

As a Marketing & Communications Intern, you will provide hands‑on support to the Marketing & Communications Officer across all day‑to‑day activities. You’ll assist with campaign execution, content creation, event coordination, and performance tracking, while learning the ins and outs of life‑insurance services and products.

Main Responsibilities

Operational

  • You will assist in rolling out marketing campaigns for our life insurance products by helping to develop and proofread email blasts, social media posts, and online ads that comply with our brand guidelines.
  • You will draft and schedule content across our social channels, track basic engagement metrics, and report performance trends to the team.
  • In support of content creation, you will write blog posts, newsletter articles, and social media updates, while liaising with designers on graphic asset briefs and ensuring all materials remain on brand.
  • You will help organize webinars, seminars, and promotional events—managing venue bookings, preparing invitations, taking on site notes, and following up with vendors or attendees as needed.
  • As part of performance tracking, you will collect campaign data and build simple dashboards in Excel to visualize key metrics over time.
  • You will support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and internal announcements, maintaining our media contacts list, and conducting outreach under senior guidance.
  • By collaborating with product, sales, and customer service teams, you will help gather feedback that shapes future marketing initiatives and contributes to a positive, inclusive company culture.
  • You will follow an individualized development plan, participate in regular coaching sessions, and proactively seek feedback to build the skills required to succeed as our next Marketing & Communications Officer.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong Verbal, and written communication skills, Attention to detail.
  • Social-Media Savvy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a team.
  • Curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
