Sales Consultant at ETG Tanzania

We are looking for a results-driven and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our insurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying customer needs, promoting insurance products, and achieving sales targets. You will play a key role in building strong client relationships and guiding customers through their insurance options.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively seek out new clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Understand clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable products (life, health, auto, property, etc.)
• Present and explain insurance policy options to potential clients
• Develop customized insurance plans based on clients' requirements and budget
• Follow up on leads and schedule meetings with prospective clients
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Assist clients with application forms, policy changes, renewals, and claims
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
• Stay updated on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes
• Participate in training sessions and sales meetings as required

Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in insurance sales or a related field
• Proven experience in insurance sales, financial services, or a similar customer-facing role
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building ability
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of insurance policies and risk management
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools is a plus
• Relevant insurance license as required by state regulations
