Mount Meru Hotel is seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, strong leadership qualities, and a proven ability to ensure guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Guest Service:
- Oversee all aspects of guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Ensure prompt and efficient handling of guest inquiries and requests.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Greet and welcome guests warmly and provide a personalized experience.
Team Management:
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team of front desk agents.
- Schedule and assign shifts to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback and coaching.
Operations Management:
- Manage room assignments and ensure accurate guest room records.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Oversee the hotel's telephone system and ensure prompt response to calls.
- Implement and maintain front office procedures and standards.
Revenue Management:
- Maximize room occupancy and revenue through effective yield management strategies.
- Monitor market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all front office operations meet or exceed guest expectations.
- Regularly review guest feedback and implement necessary improvements.
