Data Analyst at Red Gold Tanzania

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Data Analyst to support daily operations by managing and interpreting sales-related data. This role is vital in maintaining Sales MIS, performing recurring and ad hoc analyses, and delivering actionable insights that drive smarter business decisions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about numbers, data systems, and transforming complex datasets into clear, impactful visualizations and reports. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales strategy, logistics, and overall business performance.

Purpose of the Role: Maintain day to day Sales MIS and present daily analysis.

Responsibilities

• Understand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with data
• Compile and analyze data related to business' issues
• Develop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion
• Translate numbers, collect data, sales figures, market research, logistics and transportation costs.
• Take data and use it to help organization to make better business analysis and decisions.
• Developing systems for collecting data and compiling their findings into reports that can help in improving day to day operations.
• Using advanced computerized models to extract the data needed.
• Removing of corrupted data.
• Performing initial analysis to assess the quality of the data.
• Performing further analysis to determine the meaning of the data.
• Performing final analysis to provide additional data screening.
• Preparing reports based on analysis and presenting to management in the form of reports, graphs and PPT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent experience
• 4 - 5 years' Data Analysis experience
• Proficient in SQL/Microsoft BI/Excel
