Data engineer Officer at dzcard Tanzania

Data engineer will be responsible for ensuring pre-production data support on manufacturing of Smart-chip cards and smooth operation of all aspects of data handling procedures and Co-coordinating with all departments.

Direct Duties, Responsibilities and Delegated Authorities

• Responsible for receiving, handling, verification, formatting and confirmation of the customer’s data, including data creation (output data) to meet customer’s requirements.
• Data preparation for production including decryption and encryption, Key handling and data deletion in accordance with Dz Card Information Security Policy (ISP)
• Apply software and create small programs in order to process the data.
• Secure customer data in accordance with Dz Cards Information security Policy
• Technical support about data to customer and production
• Monitor and develop an ability of programming when necessary while working
• Maintain and prevent disappearance, loss and stolen of the sensitive data
• Instruct the applicable program to the responsible operators and advise them some technical knowledge
• Maintain the security standards in accordance with Visa, MasterCard and SAS requirements
• Interacting with the field technical consultants regarding the new product
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience on the same or related field
• Basics of any Programming language
• Experience with data encryption, masking, and anonymization
• Project management basics or agile knowledge
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
