Driver: Job Purpose

The Driver will provide effective transport facilitation to AML staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and vehicle maintenance to support organizational operations. The role requires a professional who can uphold the company’s values and demonstrate exemplary communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate transportation for AML staff using assigned vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure vehicles are in good condition before use.
• Conduct periodic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Drive responsibly, ensuring the safety of staff, vehicles, and other road users.
• Prepare and submit weekly vehicle reports to the HR & Admin Officer.
• Notify the HR & Admin Officer about upcoming vehicle insurance and road license expirations at least one month in advance.
• Maintain accurate mileage registers, fuel records, and logbooks.
• Deliver cheques and other documents as required.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Secondary School Education.
• Clean and valid driving license (Class C) and a Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Proficient in English and Kiswahili (spoken and written).
• Grade Test and Road Safety Certification (added advantage).
• Basic knowledge of motor vehicle mechanics is essential.

JOB LOCATION

• The position will be based at AML Finance Headquarters in Mwenge Dar es Salaam.
