Required Skills :

Vehicle operation: Safely and efficiently operate heavy-duty vehicles, which can include trucks, trailers, or buses.

Vehicle inspection: Conduct regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check for mechanical problems, fluid levels, and tire condition; report any defects or issues immediately.

Cargo management: Load, unload, and secure cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit.

Route and schedule adherence: Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely delivery, considering traffic and weather conditions.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, trip authorizations, and fuel consumption.

Communication: Communicate with dispatchers, logistics teams, and clients to provide status updates and coordinate with other team members.

Safety and compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies, and complete required safety training.

Maintenance reporting: Communicate any mechanical issues or needed repairs to maintenance personnel.
