Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time Truck Driver role based in Dar es-Salaam, for a three (3) month period.

The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods/cargo. Key duties include operating and maintaining company trucks, ensuring timely deliveries, loading and unloading shipments, adhering to safety and compliance regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery records. Drivers will be expected to keep their trucks clean as well as work closely with the logistics team to guarantee smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record
• Valid GCLA certificate
• Understanding and adherence to DOT regulations
• Multi skilled drivers will be prioritized (flagmen, operators, mechanics, etc)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining delivery records
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
• Familiarity with regional routes and Tanzanian ports is a plus
• Commitment to punctuality, safety, and operational excellence
