JOB SUMMARY:

The Sports Teacher will lead the physical education (PE) curriculum and manage all extracurricular sports programs. The role focuses on developing student fitness, teaching athletic skills, and cultivating values of teamwork and sportsmanship.

• Reports To: Head Teacher

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PE Instruction: Plan and execute weekly physical education lessons for all age brackets across the school.
• Sports Coaching: Train and coach school sports teams (e.g., Football, Netball, Basketball, Athletics) for internal and inter-school competitive matches.
• Event Coordination: Organize annual school sports days, tournaments, and fitness challenges.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain all sports equipment inventories and strictly enforce safety protocols on the sports fields.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or equivalent certificates.
• Proven coaching experience in multiple popular athletic disciplines.
• First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• High physical fitness levels and enthusiastic mentoring capabilities.
